HF (Hotfix) - the back of the crystal is coated with a specially designed and patented hot-melt adhesive layer. This layer offers flexible properties: the crystals are applied using the hotfix method at temperatures ranging from 120°C to 170°C. After cooling, they are securely bonded to the base material (typically fabric or textile). Crystal application to fabric can be done using a specialized soldering iron, an industrial hot press, or a standard household iron.

The crystal features one of the most popular effects, AB (Aurora Borealis), or "northern lights," developed by Swarovski in collaboration with Christian Dior in 1955.
