HFT (Hotfix Transparent) - The back of the crystal is coated with a specially designed and patented transparent hot-melt adhesive layer. This layer offers flexible properties: the crystals are applied using the hotfix method at temperatures ranging from 120°C to 170°C. After cooling, they are securely bonded to the base material (typically fabric or textile). Such crystals are often referred to as hotfix rhinestones. Crystal application to fabric can be done using a specialized soldering iron, an industrial hot press, or a standard household iron. The Hotfix Transparent (HFT) technology is typically used on Swarovski crystals without a foil backing, creating an intriguing raindrop effect—the crystal takes on the color or shade of the base material.
